Welcome to Bee Gardening

My Motivation

Hello! My name is Valerie Younger and my primary wish is to spread the joy that gardening gives to me and to others in my community. I am a retired primary school teacher and a lifelong gardener who has recently moved to Norfolk from Bedfordshire.

I am passionate about gardening alongside nature and fostering gardening practices that encourage sustainability and are climate friendly.

My retirement project is setting up a community space in my own garden, promoting wellbeing through gardening. Through the THRIVE organisation, I have 2 certificates in setting up and running a social and therapeutic garden club. I am also a level 3 Forest School leader.

When?

Bee Gardening clubs run from April to October on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am and on Saturday afternoons between 2pm and 4pm.

Where?

At my private medium sized garden backing onto Ling Common Woodland: 62 Woodland Gardens, North Wootton, King's Lynn. PE 30 3PX
